Seeing new places through a photographic lens can be quite magical. It encourages you to look for the foreign or strange—something that is not part of your day-to-day reality. When I visited Wroclaw (a city where my sister lived for a while), I made sure to take my camera with me and looked for evidence of unfamiliarity.
